Metronomes works on a number of art projects every year incorporating steel pan in a variety of art forms.
Jazz & Steel
Jazz played on the steelpan is frequently referred to as jazz and steel. It’s been a goal of Metronomes for some years to run a jazz project, and we hope to make it happen in the coming year.
Rebab & Steel
Metronomes will be working with Moroccan musicians on the ground-breaking project combining the Rebab string instrument and other Arabic instruments with steelpan. When this music is made available to listen to online it will be a world first.
