Safety procedures when coming to the Panyard
Strictly invite only
At the moment, only people who are invited can come to the Panyard. Small rehearsal groups are meeting on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons to prepare to be filmed for the virtual Notting Hill Carnival events.
If you have not be invited to the Panyard, you will not be allowed in. People who are invited to the Panyard must follow the safety procedures.
If you visit Meanwhile Gardens, you must continue to follow safety rules including maintaining 2-metres social distancing. There’s up-to-date details on social distancing on BBC Online News (9 July 2020).
If you’re feeling unwell
If you or anyone you live with displays symptoms associated with COVID-19 (NHS website), please do not visit the Panyard.
Sign the register
You will have to sign the register when you enter the building. This will help NHS Test and Trace if needed.
Social distancing (2-metres)
The number of visitors to the Panyard is being kept low so you can maintain social distancing. Everybody is asked to maintain the 2-metre rule. There’s up-to-date details on social distancing on BBC Online News (9 July 2020).
You are encouraged to wear face coverings, for your safety and the safety of other people in the Panyard. Metronomes will provide free disposable face masks for anyone who wants to use them. They will be available at the entrance to the Panyard.
Hand sanitiser stations
Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the Panyard, You should use sanitiser when you enter and leave the Panyard, and regularly while in in the building.
The frequency of cleaning throughout the Panyard has been increased, including toilets.
